Wien Meidling Station
The Vienna South and East stations are closed since December 2009 because of the construction of the Vienna Central Station. Since then the international railroad traffic to Southern and Eastern Europe is carried out mostly via the station Wien Meidling.
From Wien Meidling you can use a taxi or public means of transport to continue to your destination in Vienna. You have access to the underground line U6 and to the regional trains (Schnellbahn). Outside the railway building there is also a stop for the bus to the Vienna International Airport
At the former Vienna South Station there is still a stop for the "Schnellbahn", which you can reach from Wien Meidling via the Schnellbahn.
Vienna West Station
The international railroad traffic to Western and Northern Europe, like Germany, Swiss or France, is carried out mostly via the Vienna West Station.
From the Vienna West Station you can use a taxi or public means of transport to continue to your destination in Vienna. You have access to the underground lines U3 and U6.
All trains of the Westbahn will also stop at Wien Hütteldorf, where you have access to the underground line U4.
